BDI offers structural testing and monitoring services for all types of hydraulic structures such as tainter gates, nav-lock gates, and fish conveyance structures. We use a very efficient testing system to record strains, rotations, displacements, cable forces, and many other parameters to gain an understanding of the structure’s overall response. Typical applications include measuring trunnion pin friction on tainter gates, measuring gudgeon forces on miter gates, and tracking the rotation of monolith walls during lock cycling.
